От редактора: Украина постепенно выходит из-за железного занавеса, который окружал страну долгие годы. Что там делается в мире? Все ли мы узнали о других странах за последние 20 лет? Думаю, далеко не все. Инерция мышления делает свое черное дело. Взять хотя бы самодеятельное радиовещание. Такого понятия у нас пока не существует. Знаем одно: нельзя! Разве что любительское спортивно-технически-ограниченное с его «59-73-погода-QRZ?».
А как быть молодым с их максимализмом и желанием заявить о себе во весь голос? Оказывается, Запад успешно решает молодежные запросы путем легализации молодежного самодеятельного некоммерческого радио. Для учащихся колледжей и студентов вузов в первую очередь. Давайте заглянем на один из сайтов и посмотрим, что в мире делается?

- RTR, Perth. 92.1 FM. Community radio. Were home to over 50 different programs, and they range from specialist talks programs dealing with one area of interest, such as the environment, to music-based programs dealing with everything as varied as music of the 1930s to avant-garde compositions. The station was shut down again by Slobodan Milosevic in April 1999 for their support for the opposition, and the entire staff was expelled and replaced by Milosevic toadies.
